It's a different world out there...can you imagine how shocked that girl would be if she met a chassidish girl who met her husband-to-be ONCE at a b'show?
Still, it would be nice if people didn't expect to see a ring on your finger after date #3...
I was an an interview where they were discussing how people plan their weddings for a year or more. I decided to leave out the fact that the Jewish standard (frummer circles) has become 3 months or less.
Um, yes. But assuming she loves her boyfriend and was told she could no longer have premarital sex with him, how would she feel about a short courtship then?
CJ - In that case, they probably would've broken up a long time ago. It's a different world. With different considerations. Eli7, this can't be the first time you're encountering this.
