Note to self: Don't Be Stupid

Things I have learned the hard way while taking exams: If I drink two cups of coffee, then a latte, then five-hour energy to wash down Excedrin Migraine, it will induce a terrible reaction, possibly the migraine I was trying to avoid. 

On Siblicide and Terrible TV Shows

Apparently, siblicide is a thing (though practiced by birds, it seems). Makes me feel a little better about the time my siblings and I jointly decided which brother we would vote off the island if we were playing Family Survivor. Though I would also note that as terrible as shows like Moonshiners, Ice Hunters (two ice fishers and one of their incompetent sons shoot at icebergs and then sell the pieces of ice to a water-bottling company), and One Car Too Far (the latter essentially being an hourlong commercial for Jeep) are, Family Survival is probably an even worse idea.

Welcome to Grad School?

I may be sitting surrounded by books about journalism attempting to write about media convergence while drinking a blueberry beer slushie at midnight. We also have had to use plastic utensils for dinner for the past two nights because I have been too busy/lazy to run the dishwasher, which is already loaded. And I'm skipping Thanksgiving this year, which makes me really sad because everyone knows Thanksgiving food is the best food.
