Deep Thoughts: The Beginning of the End and the End of the Beginning

• I took my last classes ever this week. Assuming I don't decide to go back to school and get a law degree after all. Or a second Ph.D. 

• These must be the fanciest port-a-potties ever.

• I mailed 290 pounds of books to Wisconsin this week. And I'm still not even close to done with packing my books—I just ran out of boxes. Also, if you ever want to send boxes that had been used for alcohol media mail, you need to cover up all the references to alcohol on the boxes. I sure wish I had known that before I brought 11 boxes to the post office.

• Times we will travel cross-country this summer: 6. Family weddings, including our own and one sister each: 3. Things on my to-do list: a lot.
