Halacha Is Real Life and Other Adventures in Gchat

In response to my Gchat poll about whether there are foods that are both snacks and meals:

Friend: if u have enough of anything it is a meal
 me:  i know that's the halacha
but i don't think it's real life
 Friend:  oy - halachah is real life

Another friend late at night while we were both suffering through studying and wanted to go to sleep:

Friend: ok, ice cream, or coffee
  or a late night muffin?
me: ice creammmmm
Friend: haha
  we should do board game + ice cream night!

me: YESSSSSSSSS
   after the semester is over?
Friend: after the graduate school is over?
